Festival Target Update - At the end of 2008 Eardulph Lodge finally reached £13500.00 raised towards the 2010 RMBI Festival. Although this is a fantastic achievement we have less than three years to go and another £15,000 left to raise. All donations would be greatfully received. These don't necessarily have to be in cash as giving up your time and effort to organise or help out at a fundraising event can be just as valuable.
Mobile Telephone and Printer Cartridge Recycling - One of our latest ideas to raise much needed cash for the 2010 Festival is to recycle old mobile phones, inkjet and toner cartridges. In a joint venture with the Lodge of Progress we have secured a deal with a recycling company who will buy these items from us with old mobiles raising anything from £2.50 to £50.00 each depending on how old they are. We can raise some serious cash for the festival and help the environment with the minimum of effort but we can only do this with your help.If you have an old mobile phone lying in the drawer why not bring it along to our next meeting. Next time you change your printer cartridge don't throw it away and if your employer doesn't recycle why not ask them if we can help them out. Our Senior Warden, Bro Ian Heaviside will be co-ordinating the appeal and am sure will be more than happy to answer any queries you may have.
